- Your Baby Nails baby scissors can be used throughout childhood. When trimming, gently pull the finger pad from the nail to avoid nipping the babys skin. Hold the babys hand firmly as you cut. Follow the curve of the fingernail. Trim toenails straight across. Take care not to cut the nail too short.
- Filing is the safest method in the first 6 months after birth to keep babies nails short. Our Thumble (sold separately) is a bladeless, wearable nail filing solution which removes the risk of cuts.
