Our DIY Escape Room bundle features two of our most popular cipher wheels: The Mexican Army Cipher and Alberti Cipher.\n\nBoth ciphers will allow you to create encoded messages for your friends or escape room players to decode. Ciphers have been around for an extremely long time commonly being used to transmit secret military messages which the opposing force would not be able to decipher.\n\nEach cipher is very simple to use. Before you start encoding a message you must first decide on the cipher key. A cipher key consists of one letter/number from each wheel. This is the Rosetta Stone in a sense as when the wheels are set to this specific alignment the person on the receiving end will be able read the enciphered message.\n\nOnce this has been established you can then go about encoding your message. Each of the cipher wheels come with detailed instructions in addition to blank worksheets to aid in creating your message.
