The Pteranodon is the best-known of the flying dinosaurs. Its name means \"winged and toothless\", and it lived about 100 million years ago during the Cretaceous period. The Pteranodons had wingspans up to 30 feet, as wide as a house, yet they weighed only 35-55 pounds, about the same as a five year old child. This was because they had hollow bones and lightweight leathery wings. This primitive dinosaur comes to life with a bit of imagination and a ton of dino-mite fun. Collect them all! Measures 6\" wing to wing.
